ARE WE MUSLIMS OBEYING "DECREES DETERMINED" BY ALLAH?

Here above we are Guided in Explicit Terms that the AYATS OF THE QUR'AN should not be

set aside, altered, assailed, suppressed or subjugated knowingly by a True Believer...

THE BELIEVERS ARE REQUESTED TO READ

VERSES 50, 51, 52, 71, 72, 116 OF SURA AL-AN'AM (6)

AND WILLINGLY OBEY ALLAH'S DECREES DETERMINED...

NOTE: Translations below are by Abdullah Yusuf Ali's including the texts with parenthesis. Comments are by Webmaster and they happen to be "Heart and Soul" of this presentation.

The Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon ALL His Messengers.

Verse 6: 50: Say: "I tell you not that with me are the treasures of Allah nor do I know what is hidden,

Comment: Within the opening of above Verse we have following important messages:

1. The Believers are expected to receive the HELP or AID from Allah alone, and the PROPHET OF ISLAM did not have the means and abilities to distribute "Treasures of Allah".

2. If that being the case, how can the Saints, Sages, Imams, Dais, Pirs, Fakirs, Murshids, Mawlanas or Awliyahs, ALIVE OR DEAD, can have such capabilities?

3. All the "Hidden Events that have happened or are yet to happen", that are being attributed to the Messenger of Allah, however and by whoever narrated or recorded, unless supported by the Revealed Words of Allah, cannot be entertained or relied upon. Beliefs for the physical returns of the individuals from the Heaven that have passed away, need to be re-examined closely in the light of this Opening Text of the Verse Number 50.

THE QUR'AN DOES NOT REVEAL THE COMING OF ANY ONE BESIDES THE ANGELS FROM HEAVEN.

(the verse number 50 continues) nor do I tell you I am an angel. I but follow what is revealed to me."

Comment: Any Prophetic Traditions - SUNNAH or HADEETH that teaches us "NOT to follow what was Revealed by Allah to the Prophet of Islam" TO BE Discarded as Dhaif (weak). Allah has made eating of certain items as Haram (Banned from consumption under normal circumstances). The Prophet cannot make those items Halal (Permissible for consumption). Similarly, the BOOK of ALLAH "COMMANDS US NOT TO RECITE OUR SALAT SILENTLY" 17:110. NO SUNNAH/HADEETH attributed to the Messenger CAN OVER-RULE THE ALLAH'S DECREE. TO CLAIM; PROPHET TAUGHT US TO "DISOBEY ALLAH", IS A BLASPHEMY AND THE GRAVE SIN. MAY ALLAH FORGIVE THE ONE WHO EVEN CONTEMPLATES IN THE BACK OF HIS MIND THAT ALLAH INSPIRED HIS PROPHET TO TEACH US TO RECITE THE PRAYERS SILENTLY AFTER HAVING COMMANDED US NOT TO DO THAT...

Counter-responses received:

1. During the afternoon, the Congregants can SEE THE PHYSICAL ACTIONS of the Pesh Imam leading the Prayers and hence they can easily follow his every action without hearing him.

2. Afternoon is a NOISY PERIOD and hence the Afternoon Prayers are recited Silently.

3. Since many of the Pagan Arabs used to walk around or sit close to the Mosques, the Prophet did not want them to HEAR THE SALATS and then make fun of it or criticize.

4. Only the portions that are recited LOUDLY are to be recited in the Middle Tones.

5. The Prophet taught us HOW TO PRAY and therefore we should FOLLOW THE PROPHET.

My Response:

1. We learn from the Qur'an and Islamic History the Calls for the Friday Noon Prayers were given loudly from the top of the Mosques inviting Believers to join the Friday Noon Prayers. Friday Noon Prayers were NOT BEING RECITED SILENTLY that invalidates first 3 arguments.

2. Prophet's Command NOT TO WRITE his "SAYINGS" has been made INAPPLICABLE since the QUR'AN HAD BEEN CODIFIED, why NOT APPLY THE SAME LOGIC since there are No Pagans.

3. DETERMINED DECREE BY OUR RABB COMMANDS HOW NOT TO PRAY. ARE WE NOT MAKING THAT DEFINITIVE DIVINE COMMAND MAHJUR OBSOLETE, OUT OF USE, FORSAKEN AND FOOLISH NONSENSE because of PROPHET'S DECREE of which we are NOT 100% SURE AND POSITIVE.

4. Our Souls, before our Births, had made COVENANTS WITH OUR RABB and Witnessed;

"We HEAR and We OBEY'. As a Muslim, we have SUBMITTED our whole self to OUR RABB. KNOWING ALL THESE HOW CAN ONE ARGUE; "I HEAR MY RABB" and "I REFUSE TO OBEY HIM"?

5. ALLAH IN HIS WISDOM PERFECTED THE DEEN ISLAM WITHOUT REVEALING FURTHER DETAILS TO SOME OF HIS COMMANDS. WE OVERLOOK TO SEE THE DIVINE WISDOM BEHIND IT AND ADD DETAILS. ARE WE NOT TELLING OUR RABB WE ARE MAKING THE DEEN ISLAM "SUPER-PERFECT". When Allah Commanded the followers of Moses to Sacrifice a Cow, instead of them saying "We Hear and We Obey", suggested their Prophet to go and ask Allah for the color, age, training, etc. of cow (see Qur'an 2: 67/71). We have legislated AN UNIFORM ACROSS THE BOARD RULES e.g. "X" number of RAKATS are to be recited UNIFORMLY BY EVERYONE for (Faraz, Sunnat, Nafal, etc). This may be suitable for physically strong and young. And, making the physically weak and aged either feel GUILTY or PRAY not for "THEIR RABB" but for the "ON LOOKERS" and "ELDERS'. Applying an "X" number of PERCENTAGE for ZAKAT UNIFORMLY. We are asking those who could comfortably afford to pay MUCH HIGHER PERCENTAGE and live comfortably to HOARD THE MAJOR PORTION of their wealth and build MASTER PIECES OF ARCHITECTS instead of CIRCULATING THE WEALTH AMONG NEEDY, WHICH ALLAH INTENDED. They ask thee how much they are to spend; say: "What is beyond your needs." Qur'an 2: 219

THE QUR'AN WAS REVEALED OVER A PERIOD OF 22 YEARS, ALLAH COULD HAVE EASILY SENT DOWN THE DETAILS AND OTHER NORMS THAT ARE INTRODUCED TO THE PERFECTED ISLAM.

OUR RABB MADE COVERING OF BOSOMS bi- khumur (pl.; s. khimar, with Sash Cloth (Dupatta in Urdu), for Muslim Women as a part of the PERFECTED ISLAM (see 24: 31). MAN MADE "SUPER-PERFECT ISLAM" DEMANDS COVERING OF HAIR, FACES AND MUCH MORE. An earnest appeal is made to women surfers and in particular to the 'Niqabi Sisters'. Please visit Three Veils and read the Command of Allah addressed to the 'CHILDREN OF ADAM' for wearing of beautiful apparel. Who could exclude Muslim Women from being the Children of Adam?

WHAT IF ANY WHO WOULD HAVE ENTERED ISLAM PERFECTED BY ALLAH STAYED AWAY BECAUSE OF THE PREVALENT "SUPER PERFECT ISLAM"?

(the verse number 50 continues) Say: "Can the blind be held equal to the seeing?

Comment: Blind person is the one who is totally dependent upon the one who is leading the path. Seeing person independently examines, investigates and follows STRAIGHT PATH. THE REAL TRAGEDY IS WHEN THE PERSONS WITH VISIONS DO ACT LIKE THE BLIND PERSONS. WHEN THE EXPLICIT VERSES OF ALLAH ARE RECITED THEY SAY; "Nay, we shall follow the ways that we found our fathers 'aabaaa-'anaa (following)." Q. 31: 21.

(the verse number 50 continues) Will ye then consider not?

Comment: Before we were born, Allah endowed us freely with hearing, sight and above all with Nafs (often translated as Soul, Self, Mind). OUR NAFS has the instinctive ability to judge between the falsehood and truth, evil from the good (see Qur'an verses 76: 2 & 3). WHY BLINDLY FOLLOW THE FORE-FATHERS AND DEPRIVE OUR OWN SOUL OF THAT FACULTY?

Verse 6: 51: Give the warning to those in whose (hearts) is the fear that they will be brought (to judgment) before their Lord: except from Him they will have no protector nor intercessor: that they may guard (against evil).

Comment: Similar to the opening of Verse 50, here in Verse 51 we are WARNED;

ONE THE DAY OF JUDGMENT, OUR SOULS ALONE WILL FACE OUR RABB FOR WHAT "WE DID"?

Verse 6: 52: Send not away those who call on their Lord morning and evening seeking His Face.

Conspicuously: There is no mention of Calling on our Rabb in the Midday or Late Afternoon. DOES NOT THAT NOTICEABLY ENDORSES THE VERSE 11: 114; "And establish regular prayers at the two ends of the day and at the approaches of the night..." OBVIOUSLY THE PROPHET NEVER RECITED FAJR, MAGHRIB AND 'ISA PRAYERS SILENTLY.

TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE WHY NOT MAKE THE NIAH (INTENTION) FOR RECITING OF SALATS ONLY WHEN YOU ARE GOING TO RECITE THEM IN THE MIDDLE TONES. AND MAKE THE NIAH FOR HAMD - (Glorifications) WHEN YOU ARE GOING TO BE SILENT. DO NOT DISOBEY OUR RABB.

(the verse number 52 continues) Naught have they to gain from thee and naught hast thou to gain from them that thou shouldst turn them away and thus be (one) of the unjust.

Comment: So as not to "turn us away from the STRAIGHT PATH" the PROPHET IN THE PRESENCE OF THOUSANDS, TOLD US TO HOLDFAST TO CERTAIN THING/THINGS IN HIS LAST SERMON. The question before us is; which OF THE THREE VERSIONS?

a) The Qur'an and his {Prophet's} Sunnah.

b) The Qur'an and his {Prophet's} Progeny.

c) Verses of the Qur'an that he had dictated???

A little later in same Sura Al-An'am 6, Verses 71/72 we are reminded: Say: "Allah's guidance is the (only) guidance and we have been directed to submit ourselves to the Lord of the worlds. To establish regular prayers and to fear Allah; for it is to him that we shall be gathered together."

Comment: IT IS MOST LIKELY, BASED UPON THIS ABOVE REVEALED WORDS OF ALLAH, the Messenger of Allah who was COMMANDED to DECLARE Say: "Allah's guidance is the (only) guidance... would have DECLARED ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE LAST VERSION. See c) above.

A little later in same Sura Al-An'am 6, Verse 116 we are reminded:

Wert thou to follow the common run of those on earth they will lead thee away from the Way of Allah. They follow nothing but conjecture: they do nothing but lie.

Comment:

BILLIONS OF CHRISTIANS HAVE OVER THE PERIOD OF 2000 YEARS ADOPTED "TRINITY" TO BE THE DIVINE TRUTH, BUT THAT DOES NOT MAKE IT THE REALITY TAUGHT BY PROPHET 'ISA...

BILLIONS OF MUSLIMS HAVE OVER A PERIOD OF 1000 YEARS RECITED TWO AFTERNOON PRAYERS "SILENTLY" BUT THAT DOES NOT MAKE IT THE REALITY TAUGHT BY OUR PROPHET...

Verse 25: 30: Then the Apostle will say: "O my Lord! truly my people took this Qur'an for just foolish nonsense."

وَقَالَ الرَّسُولُ يَارَبِّ إِنَّ قَوْمِي اتَّخَذُوا هَذَا الْقُرْآنَ مَهْجُورا

Comment: My earnest appeal is to those who LEAD THE DAILY PRAYERS and MAKE THE FRIDAY SERMONS. Since you fear your Rabb ask yourself a simple question: Is it YOUR LOVE for the PROPHET or the TREND OF YOUR PEERS or the PRESTIGE that makes you hold fast rigidly to the so called INDISPENSABLE SECONDARY SACRED SOURCE OF ISLAM, EVEN IF THAT MAKES THE REVEALED VERSES OF THE GLORIOUS QUR'AN MAHJUR (FORSAKEN - OBSOLETE).

I conclude with Verse 2: 140: Say: Do ye know better than Allah? Ah! who is more unjust than those who conceal the testimony they have from Allah? But Allah is not unmindful of what ye do!

Following ISLAM PERFECTED BY ALLAH or following ISLAM SUPER-PERFECTED BY ALTERNATE RESOURCE - the choice is ours.
