Adam - the progenitor of modern Homo sapiens
(the species to which modern humans belong)
was neither the first creation nor the last...
reveals the Qur'an

Here is one of the many verses of the Qur'an quoted within this article;
Thy Lord is Self-sufficient full of Mercy:
if it were His Will He could destroy you
and in your place appoint whom He will as your successors
even as he raised you up from the posterity of other people.
Qur'an 6: 133
The most recent discoveries reveal that there were species of man before the Homo sapiens... The Qur'an had not only attested that to be the reality, fourteen centuries ago, but has also informed us for the future creation of the New Species in new forms, of which we have no knowledge. We are also made aware of New Creation (New Universe), once the present one is "rolled-up" by Allah.
Sudden extinction and "sudden" origin of new species and failure to change thereafter for a considerable period (stasis), has since long been acknowledged by the renowned paleontologists.

  • Please read carefully the following few selected verses of the Qur'an:

    It is We who have created you, [O men:] why, then, do you not accept the Truth? Have you ever considered that [human seed] which you emit?
    Is it you who create it or We the source of its creation?
    We have indeed decreed death to be ever-present over you: but there is nothing to frustrate Us from transforming you [men] into beings that you know not.  56: 57-61

    It is We Who created them [men] and strengthen their make [frame],
    and that, if it be Our will, We can replace them entirely with others of their kind. 76: 28

    "And fear Him Who created you, just as [He created] those countless generations of the men of old."  26: 184

    Were We then weary with the first Creation that they should be in confused
    doubt about a new Creation? 50: 15

    Art thou [O men] not aware that Allah has created the Heavens and the earth in Truth? If He so wills He can remove you and bring forth a new mankind [in your place], nor is this difficult for Allah. 14: 19-20

    If He so Wills, He can do away with you and bring forth a new mankind [instead of you], nor it is difficult [at all] difficult for Allah. 35: 16-17

    If He so Wills, He can cause you, O mankind, to disappear, and bring forth
    other being [in your stead], for Allah has indeed power to do this.  4: 133

    Say: "It is Allah who creates [all life] in the first instance, and then bring it forth anew. How perverted, then, are your minds!" 10: 34

    Does every man among them hope to enter the Garden of Bliss? By no means!
    We have created them out of the [base matter] and they know [that]!
    ...We are verily, able to substitute for them better [men] than they;
    and there is nothing to prevent Us from doing [what We plan]. 70: 38-41

    On the Day, We shall roll up the skies like a written scroll [completed];
    and as We produced the first Creation so shall We produce a new one;
    a promise We have undertaken. Truly, We shall fulfill it. 21.104

    It is He who begins [the process of] creation; then repeats it; and for Him it is most easy. To Him belongs the loftiest similitude in the heavens and the earth;
    for He is exalted in might, full of wisdom. 30: 27.
